Our approach
Insights Discovery workshops
tailored to your team
No two teams are exactly alike – so we don’t believe in delivering exactly the same workshop to everyone.
Before your session, we’ll talk with you about your team, the challenges you’re facing and what you would like to be different as a result of the workshop. We can then tailor the session around areas such as:
We can focus on
- Developing self-awareness
- Improving communication
- Building stronger working relationships
- Understanding different communication preferences
- Building trust within teams
- Improving collaboration
- Developing managers and leaders
- Creating more effective hybrid and remote teams
The result is a workshop built around the challenges your team actually faces — with practical learning they can take straight back into the workplace.

Insights Discovery Scotland FAQs
What is Insights Discovery?
An Insights Discovery workshop is an interactive team development session that helps people understand themselves and others more effectively. Using the Insights Discovery colour energies – Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green and Cool Blue – participants explore their communication preferences, strengths and potential development areas.
The workshop gives teams a simple, memorable language they can continue using long after the session has finished.

Yes. If you have an appropriate meeting or training room, we can deliver the workshop at your own premises. This can be a convenient and cost-effective option, particularly when the whole team is based in or around Scotland.
Can you arrange a training venue in Scotland?
Yes. If you would prefer to take your team away from the workplace, the workshop can be held at a Scottish training or conference venue.
Scotland is particularly convenient for teams with people travelling from different locations because of its excellent rail connections. We can discuss your requirements and recommend the type of venue and room layout that will work best for your group.
Does everyone receive an Insights Discovery Personal Profile?
Yes. Participants can complete the Insights Discovery Evaluator before the workshop and receive their own Insights Discovery Personal Profile.
The profile provides personalised information about areas such as communication style, strengths, possible weaknesses, management preferences and how an individual may interact with other people.
During the workshop, participants learn how to interpret and apply their profiles rather than simply receiving a report.
How long does an Insights Discovery workshop take?
The format can be tailored to your objectives. Workshops can range from shorter introductory sessions through to half-day and full-day programmes, with more extensive programmes available where required.
For teams wanting to explore their profiles in greater depth and apply the learning to real workplace situations, a full-day workshop can provide more time for discussion, exercises and practical application.
How many people can attend an Insights Discovery workshop?
Insights Discovery can work with both small teams and larger groups. The most appropriate format will depend on the number of participants and what you want the team to achieve.
For larger groups, we can discuss facilitation, room layout and activities to make sure everyone remains involved in the workshop.
Is Insights Discovery suitable for a newly formed team?

It can help team members get to know one another more quickly, discuss how they prefer to work and establish a common language for future collaboration.
Can Insights Discovery help an established team?
Absolutely. Established teams can use Insights Discovery to explore existing working relationships and identify opportunities to communicate and collaborate more effectively.
It can be particularly useful when teams are experiencing change, bringing departments together, developing managers or simply looking for ways to strengthen performance and relationships.
How much does an Insights Discovery workshop in Scotland cost?
